The GTC4Lusso is by far Ferrari’s most interesting vehicle in production. Well, most interesting vehicle that was in production.
Motor1 first reported on Monday that Ferrari confirmed the shooting-brake supercar of sorts is now out of production. The confirmation, curiously, flies in the face of previous reports that Ferrari said the model was not on the chopping block. It’s not clear what may have changed since then, but Ferrari told Roadshow in a statement, “In accordance with its five-year model strategy announced in 2017 and the company’s standard model life cycle, Ferrari has phased out production of the GTC4Lusso and GTC4Lusso T.”
Aside from the gorgeous design and usable cargo space, the GTC4Lusso packs a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 681 horsepower and power flows to all four wheels. It’s not your average utility vehicle. And if the V12 isn’t enough, Ferrari more recently added the rear-wheel drivewith the company’s twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8. It makes 602 hp. Either way, the car looks great, sounds good and goes fast — basically three hallmark Ferrari attributes.
With the GTC4Lusso out, it seems anyone in need of a Ferrari with some utility will need to wait for the company’s upcoming SUV. Officially called the, which translates to “thoroughbred” from Italian, there will still be a traditional internal-combustion engine, but also a hybrid option too. All-wheel drive will be on the menu and a dual-clutch transmission will ensure the power finds its way to the wheels.
The Purosangue should come in the next couple years, but there’s no doubt we’ll collectively miss the GTC4Lusso. A lot.

Snake River Farms
Skirt steak and it’s close cousin, flank steak, have become the darlings of the grilling world. With demand came higher prices and now those cuts aren’t as budget-friendly as they once were. That’s why you’d be wise to pounce on Snake River Farms’ Grilling Greats package on sale for $149 which includes $173 worth of Wagyu skirt steak, USDA choice trip-tip and American Wagyu flank steak.

Cows are sustainably and humanely raised in the Northwest. Snake River also offers heritage Kurobuta Berkshire pork — a favorite among chefs.

About Omaha Steaks:
The OG Omaha Steaks has been in the meat delivery business for as long as I can remember. It has a preference for grass-fed beef, though both grain- and grass-fed are offered. Omaha doesn’t advertise organic meat like others or provide much information about how the animals are raised, but with a nearly “100-year-old tradition of premium, aged and hand-trimmed beef and satisfaction guarantee,” it has plenty to brag about.

The original Lenovo Smart Clock was one of the firstthat I actually liked. I generally prefer simpler alarms, but Lenovo’s model brought an elegant touchscreen to the bedside so you could view the weather forecast or play music. It doubled as a Google Assistant smart speaker similar to the Nest Mini. For the new Smart Clock Essential, Lenovo is leaning into the mantra that less is more.
The simple touchscreen has been replaced with a clock, the weather and indicators for when you have an alarm set. As with the original Smart Clock, an ambient light sensor will help it adjust the brightness based on the light in the room. The Smart Clock Essential also has a night-light embedded in the back of the body.
While I liked the original Lenovo Smart Clock, I occasionally missed the functionality of smart displays like the Nest Hub, which lets you watch videos and access a smart home control panel. You could check your smart cam on the Clock, but you were generally limited to a few simple screens of info. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is going further away from, but it could still make sense if you just want a smart speaker with an alarm clock.
The Essential will have a physical button to control alarms, or you can set them with a voice command. It has a 3-watt speaker so you can still listen to music and include it in groups for synced music with other Google smart speakers.
It also gives Google a smart speaker comparable to the. Google hasn’t yet released an own-brand smart speaker with a time display.
The price also makes the simplified screen appealing. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential will be $49, which is the same as the Nest Mini without a clock and $10 less than the Dot with Clock. Lenovo’s simplified smart alarm is due to hit shelves in time for the holidays.
Every time a race car driver steps into the cockpit, great reward lies ahead. There’s also tremendous risk. Randy Pobst knows that, and experienced it last week when a mistake sent his Unplugged Performanceoff the road in a pretty serious crash during the 2020 . Thankfully, only the car sustained a bruising, not Pobst.
More often than not, racing drivers don’t give up after a prang. They saddle back up, and that’s exactly what Pobst set out to do when he strapped back into his stripped-out Model 3 for another run up Pikes Peak. This time, he set a very clean run and captured everything from the cockpit’s point of view for all of us to enjoy.
Following his run, Pobst’s YouTube channel published lightly edited footage (above) showing the driver tackle the nearly 20-mile climb in the electric car. Even though Pobst didn’t manage a win for his class, the run shows him absolutely flying. And it was still good enough to capture second place.
It’s easy to lose the sense of speed when watching video, but as Pobst wheels the car around the sharp corners and up the short straights, he clocks speeds around 100 mph. Think about the sense of speed at highway speeds and then double that. Then toss in a narrow road and cliffs on one side of you. That’s Pikes Peak.
Pobst reported some power issues, which you can hear him speak of briefly during his run and shortly after he finishes. It’s likely the car still had some quirks following repairs after the crash because it definitely looks like the Model 3 struggled in a straight line as he continued his drive up to the top.
Regardless, have a watch and let a master show you how to handle a performance EV.
Amazonhas cleared a regulatory hurdle, moving the online retail giant one step closer to dropping packages off at your doorstep with drones. The US Federal Aviation Administration on Saturday issued Amazon Prime Air a “Part 135 air carrier certificate,” allowing it to begin commercial drone deliveries in the US.
“Amazon Prime Air’s concept uses autonomous UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) to safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers,” said a spokesperson for the FAA on Monday. “The FAA supports innovation that is beneficial to the public, especially during a health or weather-related crisis.”
David Carbon, the, called the certification an “important step forward,” adding that it indicates the FAA is confident in “Amazon’s operating and safety procedures for an autonomous drone delivery service that will one day deliver packages to our customers around the world.”
FAA approval doesn’t mean everyone’s Amazon packages are going to be regularly delivered by drone right away. Amazon said it’ll take more time and work before its drone operations are ready to scale, but this approval will allow it to start testing customer deliveries.
Amazon has talked up its drone delivery plans since 2013. The company has already piloted 30-minute deliveries in England and tested the service in controlled settings in the US. Prime Air is the third company to be cleared by the FAA for commercial drone deliveries, joiningand .
Carbon said Prime Air will continue to work with the FAA to realize its vision of 30-minute drone deliveries.

Chinese tech giant ByteDance may be ready toafter all, with a new report Monday saying the social networking app’s sale may be finalized tomorrow.
A deal for TikTok’s US, New Zealand and Australian operations is expected to be announced “as soon as Tuesday,” CNBC reported Monday, citing sources who wished to remain anonymous. It is unclear how China’smight impact the deal.
So far, Microsoft, Oracle and “a third US company” have made bids on TikTok, CNBC reported last week, noting that retail giant Walmart said it’s teaming up with Microsoft for its bid. That report also said TikTok’s US, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand businesses are valued at up to $30 billion.
Walmart said in a statement that it believes TikTok’s integration with advertising is a “clear benefit to creators and users in those markets” and offers an opportunity to bring a new spin to e-commerce.
“We believe a potential relationship with TikTok US in partnership with Microsoft could add this key functionality and provide Walmart with an important way for us to reach and serve [different types of] customers as well as grow our third-party marketplace and advertising businesses,” Walmart said in the statement.
According to CNBC,, but switched to Microsoft when it wasn’t able to gain a majority stake in TikTok if it partnered with Alphabet.
TikTok, Microsoft and Oracle declined to comment last week.
The news comes after TikTok CEO Kevin Mayer resigned late Wednesday, marking ahelming the company after running Disney’s streaming video business.
The video-focused social networking app has had a rocky past few months. The app has grown over the past year to more than 100 million users in the US andaround the world, making it a cultural phenomenon particularly among teenagers. Its short-video format has helped dance and comedy sketches go viral both on its service as well as on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
That popularity, though, has been blunted by announcements from a succession of US government agencies, the military, Congress and the White House warning that TikTok poses a national security risk, in part because its owner, ByteDance, is a Chinese company. The argument is that ByteDance, via TikTok, collects reams of user data and that this can be used by China’s ruling Communist party against US interests.
President Donald Trump said he intends to ban the app from the US by early November unless it’s purchased by an American company, touching off an odd acquisition process among the tech industry’s, particularly Microsoft.
“The spread in the United States of mobile applications developed and owned by companies in the People’s Republic of China continues to threaten the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States,” Trump said in his initial executive order on Aug. 6 announcing the upcoming ban. “At this time, action must be taken to address the threat posed by one mobile application in particular, TikTok.”
In a legally questionable move, Trump has since demanded the entire app be sold, not just its US operations, and that he wants a “very big proportion” of the sale. Legal experts question whether he can make such demands, and claiming that the “executive order is not rooted in bona fide national security concerns.”
